skate journal: rainy night flatground in the garage (sept 11, 2019)
On a rainy night I went into the garage for the first time in a long time. Cleaned it up some then tried to skate. I had some old 379s with gamechangers in them and started on the putter. Nothing was working. Eventually I was back in the Westgates and on my regular setup and things felt better. Once the flippers started I had some fun. I was listening to Fluung on the boom box. I got another one of those ‘barely a make’ varial heels, first try heel, b/s flips, couldn’t treflip and ended with a fun feeling fakie 3 shove.
