skate journal: flatground before the meta premiere (nov 28, 2017)
Right after work I went to the Dog Park to meet Dave. I skated for about 30 minutes before he got there. In that time period I really didn’t land much of anything. I mean a few kickflips, fakie flip, halfcab flip, heelflip. But considering how many times I’ve done those and how many more tricks I’ve done I feel my count should be higher. I don’t remember getting much more then that although I know I landed something. Maybe a treflip with the hands down or something. Oh yeah, I was trying some thicker insoles so it did make things a little weird. It got dark real quick once Dave got there. Kind of a bummer. He had just started getting warmed up when we moved next to the one light. I lost interest as the shadow was too much. Dave got a nice varial flip. Then we headed our separate ways and met up later at the Meta vid.
