skate journal: kickflipping the quiver (may 10, 2017)

After a poor night of skating last night I wanted to blame my setup. Even though I know it was just me. I went in the garage and kickflipped all the boards in my quiver to see what was easiest and what worked best, etc. I had to assemble an 8.25 with 8″ high trucks to get a full range of sizes. And it ended up being the best feeling kickflip. My last setup of 8.1″ with 8″ low trucks felt pretty bad actually. But not as bad as the 8.5″ with 8.5″ trucks. Neat.
