skate journal: lafayette back noseblunts before work (sept 19, 2016 day 263)
Posted in Skate Journal on September 19th, 2016 by corpoDidn’t sleep well and woke up early. Not the best combo. Liz couldn’t play tennis so I went skating. I had the whole park to myself for the hour I was there. I pushed around for awhile, doing the mellow carves that park is great for.
Then found the tiniest qp in history and started posing some backside noseblunts. Somehow, someway I was able to kind of pivot off my nose into it. I did a couple and was already happy.
But I decided to do it on the worlds second smallest qp as well! Ha, a few minutes later I got one that felt my best. It was actually really fun. I still mostly pivoted rather then ollied in, but whatever. I spent the rest of the time doing wallies on the corner of the rock followed by kickflip or treflip to fakie. Got both, but the treflip was with my hands down. Good thing that’s all the rage these days.
